Drop off donations at GBC

Guiseley Baptist Church supporting Bradford North Foodbank as a collection point

Bradford North Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. Please follow this link to find an up-to-date list of food and essential items in short supply.

Do you have a laptop/tablet that you no longer use?

Along with our usual Foodbank drop off you can now donate unwanted digital devices (laptops, tablets, PCs & mobiles, ideally under 5yrs old & working), to go to those in need nearby.

We are collecting on behalf of the Digital Access West Yorkshire team. Your donated device will be taken to their workshop at Hyde Park Book Club for cleaning, securely wiping of all data and repurposing for those in need across the local area, especially for online schooling, social connections and other online requirements eg medical, shopping etc.
If you could remove any accounts, eg Apple iTunes accounts, and restore factory settings etc, that would be very helpful to the technicians repurposing your donation. Further details about how to wipe your device ID can be found here. If you are unsure how to do this, don't worry - no personal data will remain on any devices that are distributed to recipients.

If you would like to donate an unwanted digital device or have a donation for the foodbank you are welcome to drop it off in the foyer of Guiseley Baptist Church on Oxford Road, Guiseley LS20 9AS between 10am - 12 noon every Sunday. Alternatively contact the church office on 01943 884233 and we will arrange a time for drop off or collection.
